It is OK to say: I am not sure how to articulate (explain) it right now.
It is OK to say: I am not comfortable. I would rather take some time to think about this. And then the other shouldnt push it. (if urgent--trade trust/resp?)
It is OK, after trying very hard over time, to say: I cant explain this but feel strongly,so would you pray about it...? And we try to achieve harmony in God.
Maybe sometimes we just need to say "I am having a hard time and need time to regroup" or such. That is a good time to clarify that there is yet love & hope.
Exceptions are at the listeners choice, such as a parent helping a child, or someone else, or not.
It might be a good time to remind the other that we care, love them, and want to help them, doing the right thing, but anyone can need time to think.
