Still there are events that make me think "Yes, that was it. I questioned or wavered, and there it is." Or, "I am so grateful...".

• When I was young (almost 10) I received what is called a "patriarchal blessing", recorded and written down afterward for reference. It affects me.
• When I was at another pivotal point in life, I received personal counsel from a local church leader, and skipping details, in retrospect it was very important.
• Here are more examples that relate to the gift of the Holy Ghost (received after baptism, conditional upon ongoing obedience to the commandments).
• Or there are other things that, if I am being receptive and humble, I just *know*, and they turn out as expected. I don't know how to explain it better.
• The Church being true, the Plan being *right*, is probably the biggest of those, overall. Everything just fits.
• Life & learning are not easy. The gospel *does* give us tools to address the problems. I don't have convenient words for how grateful I am, for that.
• Update: And as time goes on, as I learn, if I am faithful, it just gets better and stronger. Life still has very hard experiences, but it is for known reasons.
• And that is *wonderful* because it means it is all worth it! !
• I find that when I am distressed or having negative/undesired thoughts, I can improve them and find peace again if...
• *I know* it is true, from much ongoing experience, like when I say I know I love my wife, or I know how food tastes--regardless of debate. You can know too.
