Much more important than any of our disagreements on policies is the preservation of our constitutional system and rule of law.

• We will of course have varying notions and even disagreements on some things (like medicare for example), and that is to be expected, even desirable.
• But I really, really hope we can agree on the importance of honesty, rule of *law* (therefore obeying the law), working within the constitutional framework...
• ...framework when changes are needed, and encourage others in the same.
• We fought in the 1770s to get away from the rule of individuals. History shows the rule of individuals is a path toward loss of key freedoms.
• I hope we will all work with each other, if we can just agree on honesty and the constitution!
• I.e., at least that much, in order to preserve our precious constitutional system.
• The Book of Mormon tells of a king named Benjamin who gave his people a form of self-rule, with a warning.
• Politics and issues (honesty and the constitution are the most essential! And thoughts on things like climate change, and medicare)
