Utah, which has a majority of Latter-day Saints (Church members), keeps being in the top of lists for...
...for being well-managed, good for business, good at caring for the poor in public/private cooperation, with high donations & volunteer hours, etc.
Again, far from perfect as we are imperfect humans.
At least according to years of article headings I have followed in ksl.com and deseret.com (admittedly both Church-owned, but it seems realistic).
(I do read from a wide variety of news sources. I used to do it in multiple languages but had to cut back for time & energy reasons.)
As one example, Utah has many Olympic locations (from 2002) that are still maintained & actively used, many years later. Those Olympics were financially sound.
I feel like I never personally encounter political corruption in our area, but I retain hope that that is still true for more than just Utah.
