Other thoughts

• It also seems prudent to have a "cushion of groceries and [essential] medications" (deseret.com) in case one can't go to the store for a while.
• Prophets have long counseled us to avoid debt, buy a home that we can afford and pay off quickly, save for a rainy day, be good to our families, etc, etc.
• They have also counseled to do what it takes to get and follow the Holy Spirit to guide us in our individual lives.
• And emergency water storage to avoid death or serious problems if the supply goes off or is contaminated for a while.
• And to use wisdom.
• These, and other future events, illustrate this wisdom.
• We also know that things can be OK with us.
