About shoes, for playing the pedals

• I was taught to not play barefoot or in socks, though some ward people I have seen do it, maybe to boost their confidence. Not the top recommendation, I think.
• If one has them, it can work best to use dress shoes w/ smooth soles and a low heel (wide -- not spiked heels).
• If you watch the tabernacle organist on video or at conference sometime, you might see what I mean. Those are pros.
• If not, we all have to work with what we have sometimes -- that is just life and is OK.
