These are *non-expert* ideas on how progression/rounded development might work. People study and write books on this, which I have not read.

• Surely music teaching specialists or majors know better ways to do all this, this is my guess or how I might continue, having mostly learned reading music only.
• I have only gone through part of this myself. It is an idea of a plan to make further progress.
• There are many books & teachers for learning different skills, for example ear training and standard patterns to match a situation, improvizing, etc.
• Searching/asking around is one approach.
• Another is to get the books used in a university course, and self-study with a mentor who can offer suggestions?
• They say that listening is key! (And later, for example, playing along with recorded or broadcast music, or with other live people.)
