Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints make promises with God to help others. No one has to be alone in hard times.

• We can have inspiration from the Holy Ghost, a member of the Godhead, to guide us and help us find safety for our families, and to solve important problems.
• These promises and blessings are available to anyone who is willing to learn, repent (make needed changes), and follow Jesus Christ.
• There is emphasis on serving each other and our neighbors (humanity) whether or not they share our beliefs, and a very large worldwide humanitarian effort...
• There is also a system to "love each other in an organized way": ministering to individuals and families to help their needs be met, physically and spiritually.
• There are 17 million members worldwide (as of 2023: starting from 6 in 1830). There are more members outside the USA, than in it.
• There are many reference on this in the scriptures and general conference talks (could search for "ministering", "humanitarian aid" etc).
• He has said he will protect His people.
• Sincere prayer to our Father in Heaven is very worthwhile.
